What is AED?
An automated external defibrillator (AED) is a portable electronic device that automatically diagnoses the potentially life threatening cardiac arrhythmias in a patient, and is able to treat them through defibrillation.
This training will educate participants in the application of AED combined with CPR accordance to 2015 American Heart Association CPR & ECC Guideline. Practical Assessment is included to ensure participants are competent to use the AED to provide defibrillation.
