Upon graduation from University of Malaya in April 1974, joined the government service as an Administrative and Diplomatic Service Officer in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Wisma Putra, Kuala Lumpur. Since joining the Foreign Services, had served in the following Malaysian Missions abroad.

During his postings overseas, he has established vast contacts and network with the business community abroad. Meanwhile, he has built and maintained strong rapport with the government offices and agencies during his 20 years services with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Malaysia. In 1994, he went on optional retirement from the government sector and started his career in the private sector.

Having the background training in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs as well as many years of international experience, he understands and respects the various cultures and protocols in our business environment and adapt himself appropriately into every situation and he hopes that the experience and knowledge he has can help to develop this institution better for the future.
