The community service program was carried out in collaboration with Teacher Dania and all students from Batch 2. They engaged in various activities together, fostering teamwork and a sense of social responsibility. The students actively participated in helping the local community through different initiatives, such as cleaning, organizing charity events, or assisting in environmental awareness campaigns.
Tentative Schedule for Community Service Program (Batch 2)
Date: 18 November 2024
Time: 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM
Location: Bait Al Mawaddah , Pusat Jagaan Warga Emas , Lembaga Zakat Selangor.
08:00 AM – Arrival and Registration
- Students, accompanied by Teacher Dania, gather at the designated meeting point for the community service event.
- Briefing on the schedule for the day and the objectives of the activity.
- Distribution of community service materials (e.g., gloves, cleaning tools, flyers).
08:30 AM – Introduction to the Community and Activities
- Teacher Dania provides a short introduction to the area where the community service will take place.
- Explanation of the tasks to be performed, such as environmental clean-up, distributing educational flyers, or supporting a charity event.
09:00 AM – Team-Based Community Activities
- Students are divided into groups and begin working on their respective tasks.
- Tasks may include cleaning up public spaces, planting trees, distributing food or donations to those in need, or assisting local organizations with their activities.
- Teacher Dania and other supervisors guide and oversee the activities to ensure proper execution.
12:00 PM – Break for Lunch
- A break for students to have lunch and socialize.
- Lunch is either provided by the college or students bring their own.
- Time for reflection on the work done so far and a chance to discuss the impact of the activities.
01:00 PM – Continued Community Service Activities
- Students return to their designated tasks and continue working together to support the local community.
- Additional tasks may include organizing donation drives, cleaning up more areas, or conducting awareness sessions in the community.
03:00 PM – Wrap-up and Reflection Session
- All groups gather to discuss the day’s activities and share their experiences.
- Teacher Dania leads a reflection session where students can express their thoughts on the impact of their work and how they feel about contributing to the community.
- Students are encouraged to share their ideas for future community projects.
03:30 PM – Presentation of Certificates and Acknowledgments
- A small ceremony where students are thanked and recognized for their hard work.
- Certificates of participation are handed out to each student as a token of appreciation.
- Teacher Dania delivers a closing speech, highlighting the importance of community involvement and the positive impact they have made.
04:00 PM – Program Ends
- The program officially ends, and students are free to leave.
- Students have the opportunity to reflect on the day’s experience and continue contributing to the community through other means in the future.
Additional Information:
- Attire: Students are required to wear comfortable, practical clothing suitable for the tasks (e.g., old clothes, gloves, sturdy shoes).
- Materials Provided: Gloves, cleaning tools, and other necessary materials will be provided.
- Snacks and Lunch: Lunch will be provided or students are encouraged to bring their own. Snacks and refreshments may also be available during breaks.
- Supervision: Teacher Dania and other faculty members will supervise the students throughout the day to ensure safety and proper conduct.
