Recreational Activities at the Field with Students
Program Purpose:
This recreational activity at the field aims to provide students with the opportunity to engage in fun physical activities while promoting a healthy lifestyle. Additionally, this program aims to foster teamwork, boost self-confidence, and strengthen the relationship between students and college staff in a relaxed and cheerful environment.
Tentative Program for Recreational Activities at the Field with Students
Date: Once a month
Time: 2:00 PM – 6:00 PM
Location: Shah Alam Field
02:00 PM – Registration and Welcome
- Students gather and move together with teachers for the recreational activities.
- A brief introduction about the program’s objectives and the activities that will be carried out.
02:15 PM – Morning Warm-up / Body Stretching
- Group warm-up session with cheerful background music.
- Students will perform light exercises such as stretching, brisk walking, or aerobics to prepare their bodies for more challenging physical activities.
02:30 PM – Recreational Activity 1: Light Running
- A light running activity around the field to warm up the body and increase stamina.
- Students will be divided into groups and can choose to run around the field or follow the facilitator leading the run.
03:00 PM – Recreational Activity 2: Mini Sports Games
- Students will be divided into small groups to join various fun light sports games such as:
- Netball or handball
- Frisbee
- This activity aims to encourage teamwork and healthy competition among students.
03:45 PM – Recreational Activity 3: Traditional Games
- A session of traditional games such as:
- Poison ball
- Finding candy in flour
- Balloon catch
- These games provide an opportunity for students to interact in a more relaxed way and lighten the mood.
04:30 PM – Break and Refreshments
- Time for students to take a break and enjoy light drinks or snacks provided.
- Students will have the chance to mingle with one another and chat in a casual atmosphere.
04:45 PM – Closing Activity: Relaxation and Stretching
- A relaxation and stretching session after the recreational activities to give students the opportunity to calm their muscles and relieve tension.
- This activity also provides students with a chance to rest after engaging in various physical activities.
05:00 PM – Program Ends
- The program concludes, and students are free to go home or continue with other activities at the college.
- A group photo will be taken with all participants and organizers to capture memories of the program.
Additional Information:
- Attire: Students are advised to wear comfortable sportswear suitable for physical activities.
- Food and Drink: Light refreshments and snacks will be provided during the break.
- Requirements: Students are advised to bring a water bottle, sunscreen, and a hat if needed.
This recreational activity at the field provides students with the opportunity to exercise, interact, and enjoy time with their peers and staff in a healthy and positive environment. The activities not only improve physical health but also foster teamwork and a sense of unity among students.
